He had a 5.7 with headers,exhaust, tune and intake. He claimed it weighs 3500lbs, i say BS.

watching this video again, i can tell you it might have actually been modded how he claimed, but 3500lbs is completely full of it.
if he could get it down to a 3500lb race weight that would be impressive, and a lot of things would have been done to get it there. most likely would have to replace body pannels with lightweight materials
i destroyed a 2007 charger that was stock, very far ahead by 100mph from a dig and this was before i ported intake and tb (345whp) in a ~3800lb race weight
GTO's have actaully come back to put out 36xx lb weight stock on a scale, and actually has some gas in it and full interior. so they arent as heavy as once thought. IIRC the chargers are comming back in around 41xx-42xx race weight |
