Well I'm going to start this one out like this....fvckITY fvckING PIECE OF shat DOUCHEBAG MOTHERfvckING COCKSUCKING fvckING CRAPEAGLE
Sunday gapimpin was riding shotgun in my car when we turned off 183 onto Metric. I was explaining to Darren how you have to go slow in that area because police like to camp out in parking lots and sure enough, we see one as we pull up to a stop light. 5 seconds later we hear a fartcan exhaust coming up fast, then screeching tires. About the time we both realize what's about to happen, it does. Little bitch slammed into us HARD. Cop comes out of the parking lot and gets to working the scene. Next thing you know like 10 ricers pull up. Guess we got in the way of their cruise. Well I'm hurting and the caddy cannot be moved because one wheel has been broken from the body of the car. Cop tells us this piece of shat doesn't have lisence or insurance. Well fvck.
Then these ghetto pieces of shat start stripping his car of anything valueable before the wrecker gets there (radio, other random ricer shat).
So Darren and I go to the hospital and now the caddy is way fvcked up again. Thankfully I have coverage, but I'm superfvcking bummed out and pretty pissed off that I have to deal with this kind of bullshat in general. I'm hurting quite a bit. Guess I tried to brace on the wheel because my shoulders hurt. Just filed my claim. fvck...
Does anyone here think it's a good idea that the cop gave me this guy's personal information?

I agree with Tsaroth. He owes you for the damages. You can find out alot about him on the Internet these days. Nothing is private. He might have more money in the bank than you think.
Get a lawyer and please talk about this since we may end up in the same boat down the road. |

Sorry to hear it Boob.
I'd handle it the easy way:
Give your insurance company the information the cop gave you, and make your insurance take care of it all.
No reason to get yourself involved with the douchebag. As a Responsible individual, that is what you pay your insurance company for, so basically wash your hands of the problem.

Todd is absolutely correct about how to handle this "officially". Already filed a claim and they're gonna repair or total the caddy. If they total it, I'm buying it back OF COURSE and will probably part it.
I'm interested to see how this pans out. My insurance company might just be in a check writing mood since they're gonna bill him for all of it. I'm just really sad to have such an awesome car damaged so substantially. I've been considering replacements and honestly nothing I've seen that I can reasonably afford seems as good.

| Well man sorry to hear about your ride again. Though you are dead on about cops sitting on metric, I drive down metric every morning to come to work and they are always somewhere on that street. Hope all goes well with that. |
I DRIVE A 3RD GEN, BUT I LEFT 2ND AT HOME. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c132/BIG_J_420/MVC-164S.jpg

Where to start.....Ok, so my own insurance company is handling the claim and is going to verify that this is an uninsured motorist claim via the police report. In the meantime they did an initial appraisal on the caddy for about 9k. This estimate is completely inaccurate because they tried to use reconditioned/used parts and didn't include the ccw rim/brand new tire or the 3k custom exhaust...to name a few. Anyway, the estimate is going to go up, way up. We'll see. |

| Caddy is a 2005. 9 k estimated damage. It'll have to get to like 15-17 for them to total, which I honestly see it headed in that direction. |
